Category:

It is our objective to educate students and young students to become intellectuals with wide perspectives, critical thinking and integration of thoughts and concepts to enable them to become professional with a wide research
experience. Throughout the book, we introduce both the concepts and the techniques that operationalize them. In several cases we show qualitative and quantitative concepts can be integrated to provide a greater meaning than each one of them alone. We also introduce critical views on the inferential statistical techniques and encourage researchers to further elaborate in the best methods for studying questions. Many of techniques of data collection, data treatment and data analyses that we introduce in this book are identical to techniques that are used in almost all the other domains of enquiry. However, because of the uniqueness of the sport and exercise sciences domain in which physiology and psychology, learning of skills and information processing are studied simultaneously, one should apply the method of triangulate methods that best represent and examine the questions of intention. We hope that the discussion made in this book will help the readers to understand and learnt about the different aspects of “Research Methodology in Physical Education and Sports Sciences” in a most comprehensive way to face the present and future challenges which are occurred in this field.
